August Favorites ✨
Another month has flown by and it’s hard to think that summer is almost over but to be honest I’m not complaining. I’m super excited for autumn/winter as it is my favorite time of the year. This month was a bit of a struggle for me on a mental level haha but I’m trying to keeping a positive attitude. Anyways, today I’m here with a few of my favorites from this month so let’s get in to it!
The Jaclyn Hill Palette
Honestly though, are you surprised this made to my favorites because I’m not! I’ve been playing around with this palette a lot and I absolutely love it! The shades, consistency, packaging- LOVE! You can check a full review I did on this palette right here!
Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser
I wasn’t so sure about this cleanser in the beginning as I’m used to cleansers which also provide some type of exfoliation and this seemed a bit too ‘gentle’ for my skin. After several uses, I am now obsessed with it. It leave my skin feeling clean and fresh without over drying it which many cleansers tend to do. All In all, it’s a great cleanser which would suit many different skin types so I definitely recommend this!
Bioderma Hydrabio Perfecteur SPF 30 (Dehydrated/Sensitive Skin)
You guys! I have finally found the perfect moisturizer for my skin. I had been on a lookout for a good moisturizer for awhile and I got this in my GlamBox this month with two other gel creams from this range but I wasn’t happy with them at all. This one though, is perfect. It has a creamy consistency and provides the right amount of moisture for my dry skin without making it greasy or leaving a sticky feeling. It has SPF too which is a plus point! I will be going to get the full size of the product soon because I’m nearly out of this one!
Dadi Oil 95% Organic Nail Treatment Oil
I don’t use nail oils often but after using this, i definitely think i should! I’ve been loving applying this on to my cuticles and it just helps with any dryness and nourishes the nails really well.
Milk and Honey by Rupi Kaur
I have already done a full review on this book which you can check out here but all in all i think Rupi Kaur did an amazing job at portraying her pain, struggles and emotions in her poetry. I couldn’t put this down and once i was finished with i was left wanting more which is definitely sign of a good book!
What are your favorites for the month of August? Did you have a good month? Let me know in the comments!
