5 Reasons Why I Love Blogging!

5 Reasons Why I Love Blogging!

There’s no doubt that blogging has evolved tremendously over the last few years and the ease of blogging has allowed more and more people to join the blogosphere. There are so many different types of blogs to read and so many different reasons why people blog; today I wanted to share with you all 5 reasons why I love blogging so let’s get in to it!

My passion towards blogging keeps me motivated and inspired. I constantly feel like I’m working towards something and after all these years of not knowing exactly what is it I want to do in my life, it feels good to have found something that I not only enjoy doing but also am good at!  To be quite honest, I can’t remember being as passionate and goal driven about anything else in my life than I have been about blogging. When I first started this blog, I didn’t expect for it to become such a huge part of my life! It definitely gives me that sense of purpose that I am continuously working towards something and setting target and goals for myself to achieve.

Obviously I love blogging otherwise I don’t think I would be doing it in the first place; but my blog has quickly become my happy place! I love being in my corner of the room with my laptop in front of me, typing away on a new blogpost. That sense of achievement I get when I see the finished post that I have put so much effort and time in to is such a great feeling that I wouldn’t trade for anything. Also, i love makeup, I mean makeup genuinely  makes me so happy so it’s super cool to be able to share my passion for makeup  with so many people through writing on my blog!

Whether it’s coming up with new blogpost ideas or how to get the most beautiful flatlay shot for my blog, I feel like blogging keeps my creativity flowing! I’m always thinking of new ways to enhance my photos, to be more creative with my writing style and blogpost ideas, to come up with new ways to promote my content and so much more.

With blogging, I feel like I’m always learning new skills whether it’s related to photography, social media promotion or SEO. The improvement in my blog photos from when I first started blogging to now is amazing, and it just goes to show how much I’ve learned about photography angles, lighting, editing and so on! Organization skills are key when it comes to blogging and mine have improved significantly and actually affected other areas of my life positively as well such as university work and just day to day tasks! Before blogging, I rarely used to set to do lists for myself and now I can’t go a day without them having one. I would like to think that my writing skills have also gotten better although I know I still have a lot of work to do in that area haha! I’ve also gotten to learn about SEO which is a work in progress at the moment.

Last but definitely not the least, is the blogging community. I am always getting inspired and learning from other bloggers  as there are so many talented and genuine bloggers out there who I look upto! Twitter especially has the most supportive group of bloggers who are always encouraging and motivating each other and honestly it really helps to know that what ever it is that you are doing is worth something. Also, looking at successful bloggers always makes me inspired and motivated to work just as hard and keep focusing on my goals and just believe in myself!

  10. I love seeing people who love to blog because it’s their creative space – that’s what it is all about in its purest form anyway! And not letting other apps and following and all the rest get in the way 💗

  13. When there’s a lot of drama in the community, a lot of people are really quick to put blogging down, but positive posts like this are exactly what we need to remind us exactly why we put so much time and effort into our blogs! Blogging definitely helps me stay creative as well, thinking up new ideas and concepts for photographs makes me really happy and gives me a feeling of accomplishment!

    1. Thank you for this comment! 😘
It’s so true, I personally get demotivated when I see people putting blogging and bloggers down and not taking them seriously but then I look at all the bloggers who have done so well and it really encourages me! 💗

  14. Totally agree with all of these, especially agree with being part of a community. It’s awesome knowing that there’s millions of girls and guys around the world who you can instantly get in touch with to talk about the same things :’)

  15. I love blogging and love all of your reasons! One reason I love blogging is that it allows you to share your passions, for me this is books and I always love sharing my thoughts on a book, particularly if I loved it. I also love blogging for the community, as it allows you to meet so many like minded people. I love having that sense of belonging. I also love discovering other people’s blogs, especially when they have similar interests as me.

    1. Yesss, I love that it allows people to share whatever their passionate about so awesome that you get to share your love for books! Thanks for reading girl’ 💗

  16. The sense of purpose is a real big pointer for me and why I love blogging too. I think that if we fail to find our sense of purpose it can often have so many negative impacts on us. Before I started blogging, I was in a hugely bad place where I felt I had no purpose at all and just beginning to write a few book reviews every now and again flipped that completely on its head. It’s amazing what blogging can do!

    1. Ahhh, so true! Before blogging whenever I would have vacations or free time I would get so so bored and just waste all my time watching shows or something, and I’m so so happy to finally have found something useful to do with that time! Something I enjoy and that can also give me opportunities in the future! 💗

  17. These are great reasons for why you love blogging! I totally feel you about all of these points, especially where you learn new skills. You become the manager of your product (blog) and can grow from it! Hope you’ll continue blogging as long as you can!

  18. Great post! I’ve haven’t been blogging for too long so I can’t wait to look back and see how I’ve come along and improved when I’ve been doing it for longer. The community is so lovely too which makes it so much nicer when you start out. It can be quite daunting when you see all these amazing blogs so with how amazing and supportive people are make it so much better!

    1. Oh yes I totally get you! I remember when I had just begun and I would bloggers with 1000 of followers and would get so overwhelmed but honestly being consistent and putting in the hard really does pay off! 💗💗

  19. Such a great post! 💖 I 100% agree with everything you said here. I’m always surprised at how much I have learned since I started blogging. I love it as it is such a creative outlet and it allows you to see progression all the time! It’s brilliant! Great post 😘 xx
