5 Skincare Products You Need To Try!
Whether you are someone who loves to wear a lot of makeup or someone who likes to keep it natural, I believe we can all agree that proper skincare is key. Today, I wanted to share with you all my top 5 skincare products that I have been loving recently and that I highly recommend. Having said that, I do have dry skin so some of these products might not work as well for you as they did for me depending on your skin type. Anyways, let’s get on with the post!
ORGANIC COCONUT OIL
There are tons of different uses for coconut oil but the main way I like to use it is as a moisturizer for my skin at night. The reason why I use this at night specifically is because it can feel a little heavy for use during the day. What I love about it is that it easily absorbs in to my skin without feeling greasy. I wake with the softest, most hydrated skin and for someone who has dry skin, there really is no better feeling! Plus, you can be rest assured that you aren’t putting any harsh chemicals on your face as it is natural and organic. You can also use it to remove makeup or incorporate it in to face mask recipes. This has quickly become my holy grail skincare product.
I like to exfoliate my skin 3-4 times a week and that might seem excessive but that is just what helps keep my skin stay smooth and texture free all the time. If you guys are looking for some good scrubs, I highly recommend checking out St.ives as they have a great range of some amazing scrubs. Not only are they super affordable buy they do an amazing job at exfoliating the skin and getting rid of all the dirt and dead skin cells without being overly harsh. My personal favourite would have to be the ‘Blackhead Clearing Green Tea Scrub’.
This might seem like a random one, but if you suffer from textured skin or whiteheads, then this is a great remedy for you. Just mix some baking soda and water together to make a paste and apply it to the specific area- for me that is the t-zone area- and wait 5 minutes. Using a toothbrush gently scrub the paste and then wash it off. My skin is left feeling so smooth/soft and it helps so much with the texture. I absolutely love this DIY remedy.
I have mentioned this product so many times on my blog already and I really hope you guys are not sick of me talking about it haha! I love using rose water as a toner for my skin. Not only does it feel super refreshing and smell so good, it has anti inflammatory properties that helps with redness/irritated skin/acne/eczema and helps remove oil and dirt form clogged pores. Also, it is super cheap and completely natural!
ORIGINS RETEXTURIZING MASK WITH ROSE CLAY
I did a whole review on this mask including two others in the origins range that you can check out here. I love this mask as it really helps get rid of the texture on my skin making it super smooth and minimizes my pores without drying out my skin. My makeup goes on flawlessly after I have use this mask and this is my absolute favourite face mask at the moment!
