Hope you are all doing good!

I am super excited about today’s post because ‘what I eat in a day’ posts are actually some of my favourite ones to read and because I have never done one on my blog (the reason being that I am far from being a healthy eater and my food never looks as good in photos haha) I decided it was about time I did one myself.


Lemon Water

I always without a fail start off my day with a big jar of warm lemon water. Not only does it feel super nice to have something warm in the morning but there are so many amazing benefits of doing this- one of the main ones being digestion and detoxification (just imagine the warm water flushing out all the bad toxins and cleaning your body from the inside)!

I feel quite full after drinking the lemon water so I wait 15-30 minutes before having a proper breakfast. For breakfast, I either have eggs or cereals and on this particular day I decided to go with my super unhealthy breakfast choice which is Chocapic cereals! I definitely do not recommend this haha but guys IT TASTES SO GOOD!

Hawaiian BBQ Chicken Wrap

Considering i am not a big fan of BBQ sauce, i was surprised at how much i actually ended up liking this wrap. I got this recipe off of Pinterest and was so happy with how it turned out. It is also super easy to make and only takes like 15 minutes! Also, I am kind of obsessed with fresh OJ and so of course I had to have that to drink with my meal.

Rice with potato and peas with a side of yogurt

This might not look like the most appetizing meal but I promise you guys, it tastes so good. My mom actually made this and it is one of my favourite food that she makes. I love having this with some yogurt-mint chutney but I was too lazy to make some so had to resort to plain yogurt haha!

Strawberries with Nutella

Okay, I have a huge sweet tooth so of course I have to satisfy my cravings. If any of you have not yet tried eating strawberries with Nutella, then you are seriously missing out! It is literally a match made in heaven and perfect for when I am craving something sweet. I love drinking tea at night as well so decided to go with Camomile tea as it is supposed to help with sleep and digestion.

  2. I love how you eat so healthy. Lemon water is such a great idea. You’re not adding all of those junky calories and fat! The Hawaiian BBQ chicken wrap looks delicious as well. I have a sweet tooth once in a while but tend to eat crackers, haha. Thanks for sharing!

  4. I’ve wanted to start drinking lemon water for ages, but I don’t know maybe it’s the taste of lemon that puts me off it. I think I’ll start it sometime soon though, there are so many benefits to it! I enjoyed reading this btw xx

      Btw, if you don’t like putting lemon in, you can have plain water. That’s how I started and then I started putting lemon in it later on! xx

  7. I love this concept! It’s so cool to see what you eat, the meal you had for lunch looks delicious. Yes I love strawberries with Nutella, but I try and be a little healthier sometimes and eat peanut butter and apples

    I’m so bad at eating throughout the day so I just eat a bunch in the evenings, which isn’t that healthy at all haha. I need to create some routines for myself 😀

  14. Lovely post Huda! This is the first time that I have read a post like this. I also like to start my day with lemon and warm water with some honey But have stopped adding honey to avoid sugar. I love eating Kelloggs Special K Vanilla Almond with lots of extra sliced almond. I am also naughty with my eating habits. But dinner is always a healthy vegetarian meal. Your rice with peas and potatoes looks delicious. To calm my craving for sweet I like to eat a slice of bread with a thick layer of my Biscoff spread. 🙂

  15. I remember when I was a kid and I had cereal for breakfast every single day. My mom loved it because that meant she didn’t have to make me anything for breakfast. I’m incredibly lactose intolerant now, but if I ever need a snack, I pop out a bowl of cereal with vanilla soy milk!
