I am super excited about today’s post because ‘what I eat in a day’ posts are actually some of my favourite ones to read and because I have never done one on my blog (the reason being that I am far from being a healthy eater and my food never looks as good in photos haha) I decided it was about time I did one myself.
I always without a fail start off my day with a big jar of warm lemon water. Not only does it feel super nice to have something warm in the morning but there are so many amazing benefits of doing this- one of the main ones being digestion and detoxification (just imagine the warm water flushing out all the bad toxins and cleaning your body from the inside)!
I feel quite full after drinking the lemon water so I wait 15-30 minutes before having a proper breakfast. For breakfast, I either have eggs or cereals and on this particular day I decided to go with my super unhealthy breakfast choice which is Chocapic cereals! I definitely do not recommend this haha but guys IT TASTES SO GOOD!
Hawaiian BBQ Chicken Wrap
Considering i am not a big fan of BBQ sauce, i was surprised at how much i actually ended up liking this wrap. I got this recipe off of Pinterest and was so happy with how it turned out. It is also super easy to make and only takes like 15 minutes! Also, I am kind of obsessed with fresh OJ and so of course I had to have that to drink with my meal.
Rice with potato and peas with a side of yogurt
This might not look like the most appetizing meal but I promise you guys, it tastes so good. My mom actually made this and it is one of my favourite food that she makes. I love having this with some yogurt-mint chutney but I was too lazy to make some so had to resort to plain yogurt haha!
DESSERT AKA MIGNIGHT SNACK
Strawberries with Nutella
Okay, I have a huge sweet tooth so of course I have to satisfy my cravings. If any of you have not yet tried eating strawberries with Nutella, then you are seriously missing out! It is literally a match made in heaven and perfect for when I am craving something sweet. I love drinking tea at night as well so decided to go with Camomile tea as it is supposed to help with sleep and digestion.
