Current Skin Care Favorites!

As a blogger, trying out new beauty products is definitely one of my favorite things to do. The past few months, i actually tried out quite a few skin care goodies and so today i wanted to share with you guys some of them that i have really been loving!

la roche posay soothing lotion

First of all, i am not quite sure why this product is called a lotion because it is so obviously not a lotion but more like a toner but anyhow, i think the thing i love most about this is it’s smell-it is just so refreshing! I also love how gentle is it is on the skin and does not dry out the skin at all. This is supposed to make your skin look more smooth, toned, soft, clean and make your pores look tighter and i have to say i can agree with all those claims except the ‘pores look tighter’ part because i have not really noticed a difference there but all in all, i really love this and it is great for any skin type!

garnier skinactive micellar cleansing water in oil

Recently, so many brands have come out with micellar water and one of them is Garnier that have come out with a wide variety of micellar waters for different skin types and purposes. I had previously tried the pink one in their range but because that one was not for waterproof makeup, i decided to try this Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water in Oil made specifically for waterproof makeup and i have to say i am really loving it! It does a great job at getting of waterproof eyeliner and mascara and i actually like it way better than the pink one because i feel like the oil in it gives a little bit of a moisturizing effect and since i have dry skin, i really like that!

Bioderma Hydrabio Creme

All my ladies with dry skin, this one is for you. This is literally the perfect moisturizer for dry skin as the biggest struggle with having dry skin is finding a moisturizer that is lightweight (non-greasy) but still provides enough hydration to get rid of the dry patches on the skin and this Bioderma Hydrabio Creme does just that and more! It deeply moisturizes the skin and leaves it looking nice and smooth. The salicylic acid in it helps to give radiance while the vitamin E oil deals with premature aging. Bioderma has some amazing skincare products so i am honestly not surprised that i ended up loving this as much as i do!

Vichy mineral 89 fortifying booster

I actually got to try out this product when i went to a beauty event recently and instantly fell in love with it! This Vichy 89 Moisturizer has a lightweight, fast-absorbing and non-greasy formula with 89% Mineralizing Thermal Water which gives a boost of hydration and i have noticed that whenever i put this on, my skin looks really healthy and glow-y. Also, i love the fact that it only has 11 ingredients- one of them being hyaluronic acid- which means none of those unnecessary chemicals or alcohol ingredients are present in this which is always a plus!

  1. I love Garnier Miscellar water!! It’s the primary thing I use to take my make up off and it actually works! I haven’t tried much by Vichy! I have to check it out! =) Hopped over from Twiiter Blog Share! =)

  2. I love the hydrabio range from Bioderma but I haven’t tried this specific product, I’ll have to pick one up next time I see one! I have never tried a product from LRP that I haven’t ended up loving either. That micellar water is one of my favourites, it doesn’t strip at all and my skin feels so soft afterwards. Great post x

    1. Thanks a lot Sophie! 💗
Definitely give it a try, and yes I’m so glad I decided to try out this one in their range! 🙌🏼

  3. I have not tried much from La Roche-Posey but this toner looks good. I use my Bioderma micellar water to remove my makeup and the current pixi range is still going great. 🙂

  4. I love this post. I’m always in need of new skin care products, particularly moisturisers, so I love seeing what other people use and love. I am particularly keen to try the bioderma hyrdobio creme as I’m always on the lookout for a new moisturiser, although I am a big fan of neutrogena.

    1. Neutrogena is a good one too! I actually love their face wash and yes definitely try out the bioderma one, it’s so great! 💕

  5. First, I think your logo is very cute 😍😍 I don’t remember seeing it before I took my little hiatus…I really enjoy your reviews, they’re always on point! Lol like idk why they call that toner a lotion either, I think this is the same one my cousin had and it was really nice. Also I love garnish micellar waters! I’m currently using the green cover one, can’t remember which it is. Great post Huda! 😘💕

  10. I’ve tried a few different micellar water’s but Garnier definitely do the best one, I’ve not been that impressed with other one’s I’ve tried.
